Using The Series

Our history materials:
– are NOT grade-level specific
– are non-consumable
– are designed to be FLEXIBLE, PERMANENT TEACHING TOOLS / REFERENCE BOOKS
– are for use by parents to educate all of their children from grades 1 to 12
– are usable as either traditional textbooks or spine/unit study guides
– do not cover High School World Geography*, Government, or Economics

We have laid out five suggested sequence options for parents to help guide them in selecting the best method of using this series for their own families.

As a TRADITIONAL TEXTBOOK:
Parents may use these texts’ features with no extra resource, preparation, or research needed:

  • fully-written chapters with comprehension questions and activities
  • detailed and chronological study of historical facts, people, events, and concepts
  • Pinterest pages (for additional photos and activities)
  • FREE online time lines

As a SPINE/BASIS for a UNIT STUDY:
Parents may choose to use these texts’ features as a guide to create their own courses:

  • FREE online time lines
  • detailed chapters to serve as reference material when needed
  • comprehension questions and activities to guide research
  • Pinterest pages (for additional photos and activities)

* Geography for all texts could be covered by looking up/marking the locations of the historical events on a world map.

NOTE: The American history portions of books 1 –  4 contain key information and dates, but are written out only in time line format with key words underlined. Parents may use these time lines as guides to topics which can be studied via the internet,local library and via our Pinterest pages. Book 5 is a COMPLETE TEXT dedicated solely to American history with fully-written chapters as well as a complete copy of the American history time line found in books 1 – 4.
