Modern and American History Book 1 continues the chronological study of history from A.D. 1 to A.D. 500. It takes key events from both Christian and secular history and places them into a single time line. Photographs throughout the text enhance the student’s learning. Each modern history lesson contains full chapters, photos, comprehension questions, and hands-on activities to help children grasp the information and concepts being presented. After completing the modern history section, students will embark on a journey through an American history time line beginning with the 1851 and ending in 1875.
